Crisis Support

Samaritans

The Samaritans are a 24 hour confidential, listening service providing free emotional support for anyone in crisis. They're here, day or night, for anyone who’s struggling to cope, who needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure.

Shout

Shout is a 24/7 text service, free on all major mobile networks in the UK, for anyone in crisis. It's a place to go if you're struggling to cope and you need immediate help. At the heart of the service is a team of volunteers who take people from crisis to calm every single day.

Papyrus

Papyrus is a national confidential helpline for any young people (under 35) at risk of suicide, or anyone worried about a young person at risk of suicide. The helpline is open 9am until midnight, every day of the year.

Calm

The Campaign Against Living Miserably offers confidential, anonymous and free support information and signposting to people anywhere in the UK through their helpline and online webchat. Open 7 days a week from 5pm to midnight.
